At the Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics exhibition in Shanghai, China, from October 19-22, Fulgar from Italy will present an extensive variety of yarns, including nylon flat yarn, textured yarn, twisted yarn, single and double covered yarn, spandex yarn, air textured yarn and high-tenacity yarn.
These yarns are applied for further processing of circular knitting, hosiery, seamless intimate wear, narrow fabric making and warp knitting by its clients, over 2,000 in number around the world.
Built in 1975 in Castel Goffredo near Milan in Italy, Fulgar currently sells close to 40,000 tons of various nylon yarns a year at a value over 350 million euros. The company has seven production facilities occupying a total area of 150,000 square metres and is one of the largest yarn makers in Europe.
In view of the growing importance of China as a yarn user, Fulgar has entered a co-operation with Chemtax Industrial to introduce its quality yarns to the Far East. Moreover, Fulgar will share with visitors at the fair its rich experience and in dyeing and finishing of nylon knits as well as quality assurance.
