Oerlikon Textile Components recently launched Heberlein MultiJet, the first open/close jet for varied spinning processes.
The field of application covers the migration and preinterlacing of textile multifilament yarns made of polyester, polyamide and polypropylene. The open/close design, in comparison to an open jet, ensures a more efficient use of the compressed air energy. This results in lower air consumption at identical performance respectively in a lager yarn count range. The compact design of the Heberlein MultiJet features minimum threadline spacing for a maximum number of threads. The retrofit to another jet type can also be done by replacing the jet pack.
