Low water consumption, energy saving and clean environment have formed the theme of the booth for Fong's Group, which showcased machinery from its subsidiaries, including Fong's National Engineering, Then Maschinen, Monforts Fong's and Xorella.

Xorella highlighted the XO-Series energy saving vacuum conditioning and heat setting machines, which could help users reduce energy consumption by 15-25%. The new series features an advanced XO-steaming system, which uses the intermediate vacuum technology and combines with internally produced 100% saturated steam for effectively conditioning, setting, pre-shrinkage and relaxing textile products.

Monforts Fong's introduced the latest complement to post-finishing range, MonfongTex 868 shrinking range. With compressive shrinking technique, it imparts dimensional stability and consistent residual shrinkage to woven fabric.

Meanwhile, the Labwin laboratory package dyeing machine is a flexible tool for pre-treatment, dyeing and after treatment of packages. Then-Airflow SYN A G1 system operates with the advanced dyeing technology as the Synergy system, but at temperature of up to 98℃, ensuring optimum protection of the fabric.

Thomas Archner, CEO of Then, said sales had been climbing up slowly worldwide, indicating that the downturn had hit bottom. He was surprised that a lot of visitors from outside China had come to the exhibition during the crisis. Some 600 people had visited the company's booth on the first day of the show, he said. "Different sectors are recovering at different paces. The spinning sector, for example, faces more hardship as there is over-capacity. For dyeing and finishing, the decline is less drastic."
