High productivity, less downtime, lower cost and less energy consumption are the features of Brückner's machines, according to Andreas Mondry, Sales Director.
About 20% of the company's 350 employees in Germany work on research and development to help customers meet their specific needs. The new requirements in the market, such as short delivery time, flexibility and good quality, offer more opportunities for further improving the machines, said Mondry.
"We sell custom-made machines and can help customers to upgrade to the other fields with our know-how. Even though production bases have been shifted to Asia, the remaining customers in Germany are very sensitive to quality. Last year (2007-2008), we had 80% market share in Germany. This is, for us, a clear signal," he said.
Presented at the show, the new Power-Frame stenter generation is characterized by the patented Split-Flow air circulation system, achieving an optimum temperature distribution across the complete dryer length and width. This is important for heat-setting processes and in the end decisive for the quality of the fabric.
The newly developed energy-saving systems allow the stentering processes to be more profitable, as the new dryer concept helps increase production output by up to 25% while reducing energy consumption in the same proportion.
