Besides rotary screen printing, Stork Prints also demonstrated its edges in direct laser engraving and digital printing.
The latest ecoLEX has been specifically launched for the Asian markets. Introduced at the ITMA Asia last year, it integrates the advantages of optical exposure of a screen with those of the digital laser technology, utilizing existing lacquer systems and developing equipment. "Differentiation is the key to surviving, the products must be of high quality with added value," said Joost Smits, Managing Director, Textile and Operations.
While China is the biggest market in Asia for high-tech printing, India also presents good opportunities. Both countries have seen a lot of investments in textile printing in recent years, according to Smits.
Kevin Yao, Managing Director of Stork Prints in China, added that with China's economic stimulus plan in place, the potential of the China market looked even more promising.
