Navis TubeTex sold and shipped a new Pak Nit SP Tubular Compactor to Meghna Knit Composite Ltd in Bangladesh in December 2009.
The Pak Nit II SP Compactor was purchased to improve on the quality and production over the machinery Maghna Knit Composite had been using. The new Pak Nit II SP is the second compactor for Maghna, but is the first Navis TubeTex compactor. Meghna's review of the Navis TubeTex machinery and the local Bangladeshi service center were key factors in the purchase of the new Navis TubeTex compactor.
The Pak Nit SP Compactor allows Maghna Knit Composite to process more difficult and sensitive fabrics to better control shrinkage and weights over the old compaction technology Maghna is replacing. Its production speed is over 50 meter per minute and compaction rates to over 25% represent the further development of TubeTex's patented roll compaction technology.
