The DuPont Corian materials have been selected to build the new architecture of Première Vision, or the World's Premier Fabric Show, designed by designer Eric Jourdan and scenographer Francesca Avossa.
The show organizer explains that the DuPont Corian materials were chosen for the properties of light, whiteness, opalescence and durability. The new architecture will last from February 2010 and for several years to follow.
This project, a world premiere for DuPont Corian, was managed as a very specific development: a special white colour "Vision Plus", a custom size for the panels (1.63 m x 1.50 m) and a production of 15 000 square meters. The Corian walls, intended to protect the confidentiality of every exhibitor while giving a feeling of opening, reflects shadows and lights like a screen.
The panels of Corian are set on a structure in white aluminium and conditioned in a way to allow a quick and cost efficient installation.
