The 6th Central Asian International Exhibition for Textile Machinery and Technologies, or CAITME 2010, will be organized on November 2-4 at the NEC Uzexpocentre, Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Organized by the International Exhibition Companies I.T.E. E&C Ltd. (Great Britain) and ITE Uzbekistan (Uzbekistan), CAITME is described as the largest international textile machinery exhibition in Central Asia and the only one of the kind in Uzbekistan. The trade fair will present the latest technology and provide a meeting place for buyers and sellers in the textile industry from all over the world.
The Uzbek light industry, particularly textile sector is considered one of the most strategic, government-supported and dynamically developing sectors of local economy, the organizers said. Further, economic performance of the industry has seen a significant increase in the volume of domestic processing of cotton fibre, exports, production rates and attracted foreign investments.
Attractiveness of the industry for foreign investors is secured by availability of steady and vast stocks of raw materials, specifically, high quality cotton fibre, low costs for energy resources, qualified and relatively inexpensive labour resources, advanced network of communications, developed system of banking and legal services, availability of vast sales markets of textile products and apparel, the organizers concluded.
