Karl Mayer’s new HKS 3-M | Power-Relax 3 of Brückner | The Bandung International Textile and Garment Machinery & Accessories Exhibition (Bandung InterTex) for the first time took place in Jakarta, Indonesia, this April.
An assortment of textile and apparel machinery and accessories were exhibited in the areas of fibre-making, man-made fibre production, spinning, nonwoven fabric making, weaving preparatory and weaving, knitting and hosiery manufacturing, bleaching, dyeing and finishing, as well as testing and quality control.
Moreover, embroidery machines, sewing machines, laundry machines, ironing & steaming equipment, laser cut machines, labeling, printing & packaging machines and more were presented.
For spinners in Asia, Suessen exhibited a range of machines in the fields of ring spinning and open-end rotor spinning, including the EliTwist CompactSet V5 compact spinning system for short and long staple ring spinning. More ring spinning machines and parts for Autocoro rotor spinning machines were also presented.
The Suessen Compact Spinning System is currently available for all volume models and types of ring spinning machines, the company says. It recently delivered the 3,000,000th EliTe Compact Spindle to the Bangladeshi Noman Group, which made a total order of 76,000 spindles.
The company also manufactures the Open-End SpinBox family SE 7/ 8/ 9/ 10. With the SC 2 / SQ 2 SpinBoxes, ensuring improved yarn quality. The average production increase is about 25% (in some cases even 40%) and a dramatic reduction of the endsdown rate is feasible, according to Suessen. The Rieter R 40 rotor spinning machine is equipped with the Suessen SC-R SpinBox. The Savio FlexiRotorS 3000/Duo-Spinner rotor spinning machine is equipped with the Suessen SC-S SpinBox, the company adds.
Meanwhile, Karl Mayer displayed its flexible tricot machine type HKS 3-M, intended for the production of a wide range of textiles, from light tulle articles to high-quality plush fabrics. It is also suitable for manufacturing structures with extremely reduced stitch densities and coarse gauges, offering further increased efficiency, according to Karl Mayer. The key to the enhanced productivity is the lightweight machine construction. As a result of the integration of CFRP components and of a precise matching of the entire design concept, the HKS 3-M machine operates at higher rotational speeds, offering higher heat stability compared to its already high-capacity predecessor. Karl Mayer also presented its latest developments of Raschel machines and machines for the production of technical textiles and warp preparation.
Brückner exhibited its made-in-Germany finishing lines for woven and knitted fabric and for technical textiles. Its latest Power-Frame stenter generation meets maximum capacity and quality requirements, provides optimum production output and results, and saves energy savings up to 35%. The patented Split-Flow air circulation system ensures high drying performance, and reproducible finishing results, it adds.
Brückner also offers tension-free drying, shrinking and relaxing of knitted fabric in tubular or open form with the Power-Relax relaxation dryer that has three fabric passages and a throughflow zone for a large production quantity. This dryer is said to allow thermal saving of up to 20% while production capacity increases up to 25%.
More systems were presented by Brückner, including the Power-Compact universal compactor; as well as the Power-Slit cutting and opening unit and the Power-Stretch squeezing unit for tubular knitted fabrics.
